  • WhatsApp contacts and basic contact metadata available during your WhatsApp Web session
  • Messages you compose or send through the Service
  • Tags, labels, and organizational structures you create
  • Messaging history, timestamps, and communication logs used for local safeguards
  • User preferences and configuration settings

This data exists only within your browser's extension storage and is accessible solely by you.

What We Collect

We collect only the minimum information required to operate and license the Service.

License Information

When you purchase a subscription, we store a license identifier and activation status to verify access. This information does not include message content, contacts, or WhatsApp usage data.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment credentials. Stripe's handling of payment data is governed by its own privacy policy.

Email Address (Optional)

If you provide an email address during checkout, it is used only for license delivery, billing notices, and essential service communications. We do not use email addresses for marketing unless you explicitly opt in.

WhatsApp Data & Browser Access

mssg.it operates as a companion to WhatsApp Web and functions entirely within your browser session.

  • The Service can read WhatsApp contact and conversation data only while WhatsApp Web is open
  • Messages are sent through WhatsApp Web only when you explicitly initiate sending
  • We do not extract, export, scrape, or transmit WhatsApp data to our servers or to third parties
  • We do not have access to your WhatsApp messages outside your active browser session
  • When WhatsApp Web is closed, the Service loses access to all WhatsApp data

We do not receive, store, or process WhatsApp enforcement signals, reports, warnings, or account status information.

Agent Replies & Agent Health

mssg.it offers optional AI-assisted features, including agent-generated reply suggestions and automated responses, designed to help users communicate more clearly, consistently, and respectfully.

How agent replies work

  • Message context may be analyzed locally within your browser session to determine whether an agent reply is appropriate
  • Agent replies are generated only when enabled and only in response to specific triggers or conditions
  • Agent functionality is constrained by built-in safety rules and confidence thresholds
  • We do not store full message content, conversation transcripts, or contact histories for the purpose of training AI models

Agent health and quality signals

To maintain the quality, safety, and reliability of agent replies, mssg.it may process limited, non-identifying system signals, such as:

  • Whether a reply was sent, suppressed, or skipped
  • Whether an agent decision resulted in silence
  • High-level outcome indicators (for example, whether internal confidence thresholds were met)

These signals are used solely to improve agent behavior, safety, and reliability.

What we do not do

  • We do not use message content to train generalized AI models
  • We do not store or replay conversations for analysis
  • We do not create user profiles, behavioral scores, or engagement metrics
  • We do not sell, share, or repurpose agent-related data
  • We do not monitor conversations for advertising, analytics, or surveillance

Agent health data exists only to ensure the system behaves responsibly — not to evaluate users or recipients.

No Analytics or Tracking

The mssg.it extension does not use:

  • Analytics services
  • Tracking pixels
  • Behavioral monitoring
  • User profiling or engagement tracking

We do not collect browsing behavior, message performance metrics, recipient response data, or activity analytics.

This does not include limited system health signals used exclusively to evaluate the reliability and safety of optional agent features, as described above.

Data Security

Because all messaging data remains on your device, security depends primarily on your browser and device environment.

We recommend that you:

  • Keep your browser and operating system up to date
  • Use secure, private devices
  • Log out of WhatsApp Web when not in use
  • Avoid installing untrusted browser extensions
